The 58th edition of Miss Universe pageant will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Watch as the Miss Universe 2008, Dayana Mendoza from Venezuela, will crown her successor at the end of this event. 84 countries and territories will compete for the title and the pageant will broadcast live on NBC and Telemundo. The presentation show, rehearsals, dress rehearsal and the grand final will take place at Imperial Ballroom, in the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort.

The Miss Universe 2009 pageant will be hosted by Billy Bush, co-host of Access Hollywood, and Claudia Jordan, a celebrity apprentice and a model of Deal or No Deal. Flo Rida will perform his successful hit Right Round and Jump during the Swimsuit Competition. Heidi Montag, David Guetta and Kelly Rowland is also set to perform on the pageant show.
